LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech volleyball squad will take a break from two-a-day practices for an intrasquad scrimmage Fri., Aug. 22nd, at 3 p.m., in the practice gym at the United Spirit Arena.

The scrimmage is open to the public and media; it will give fans a first glance at the 2008 squad. The team has eight players returning and brings in seven newcomers.

The Red Raider's will start its season on Aug. 29th at the North Texas Tournament. The first home match will be on Sept. 12th, during the Red Raider Round-Up.
