LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech fans got the opportunity to see the Red Raider volleyball squad compete in an intrasquad scrimmage and the crowd was able to see good potential for the upcoming season.

Senior Brandi Hood led all players with 14 kills and junior transfer Hayley Ball and freshman Amanda Dowdy finished the scrimmage with 12 kills each. Junior Jenn Harrell recorded 18 digs over the five set match. The black squad beat the red squad three sets to two.

The Red Raider's will begin the season Fri., Aug. 29th, at the North Texas Tournament. Tech's first home match will be Fri., Sept. 12th, at the Red Raider Round Up.
