LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech volleyball squad welcomes the Colorado Buffaloes to the United Spirit Arena this Saturday for the start of the second half of Big 12 conference action.

The Red Raiders (5-17, 0-11) come into the match after a loss to No. 3 Texas. Tech played with high intensity throughout the match but lost in three sets. The Red Raiders received eight kills from both middle blocker Amanda Dowdy and outside hitter Hayley Ball.

Colorado (10-9, 4-4) fell in straight sets to Missouri this past Wednesday night and sit sixth in the Big 12 race. The Buffaloes won the last meeting on Oct. 8th, behind a .533 hitting percentage in Boulder, Colo.

The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and it will be "Pink Night" at the USA. Pink t-shirts will be sold with all proceeds benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
