Lubbock's KLBK-TV (Ch. 13) to Broadcast USA National Team Volleyball

LUBBOCK, Texas - Lubbock's KLBK-TV (Channel 13) will broadcast the USA National volleyball team's exhibition match against Texas Tech on Monday, October 27, 1997 at 7:00 p.m. The match will be aired on KLBK Channel 13 Sunday, November 2, 1997 at noon. Dave Pringle and Kurt Kiser will provide play-by-play and color commentary.

The USA National Team match marks the third Red Raider match that will be televised. The other two matches- at Texas (Nov. 8) and home against Nebraska (Nov. 21) will both be televised by Fox Sports Net. Broadcast times and channels for those two matches will be announced at a later date.

Texas Tech (4-4 Big 12, 17-5 overall) travels to Colorado (Friday, Oct. 24) and Nebraska (Saturday, Oct. 25) this weekend before playing the USA National Team on Monday, October 27 (7:00 p.m.) at Lubbock Municipal Coliseum. Admission for the exhibition match against the USA National Team is $5.00 general admission.
